The first or the pre-alcoholic stage is the use of alcohol; this stage is known to give no negative consequences. There is no problem with drinking and the drinker. In this stage the additional control over the amount of alcohol consumed is taking place.
The second stage of alcoholism also known as the early stage. The misuse of alcohol is taking place in the given stage. The drinker takes it as a device to relieve tensions, stress and problems. The tolerance levels increases day after day; this means that the drinker will need increased quantity of alcohol every time in the future to get the desired effect or feeling to remove their problems.
After this addict entered the middle stage of alcoholism called as the crucial stage. In this stage, a person use to drinks to erase the anger and social discomfort produced in life due to some reasons. Appetite loss, avoidance of any social circle all the symptoms are telling about the middle stage of alcoholism.
The last or chronic stage is when there is the complete loss of control over one's life.
