Alcohol is associated with number of cancers and cancer deaths worldwide. Alcohol increases the risk of the breast cancer, mouth cancer and stomach cancer and many more alcohol damages etc.
Alcohol has been found the number one carcinogen causing cancer and alcoholic beverages are carcinogenic to humans. Studies have found that alcohol intakes double the tumor growth. Intake of alcohol during pregnancy has been associated with childhood blood problem. We will be discussing more about cancer and effect of alcohol on the various body parts.
Pancreatic cancer: long term heavy drinking cause's pancreatic cancer but the pancreatic cancer doesn't increase the risk as the other types the chronic pancreatitis. So if there is a link with alcohol and pancreatic cancer than it is a very light risk. The studies show that the alcohol intake and fat accumulation increases risk. Consumption of the white wine is more associated with this.
Small intestine cancer: a study shows that the alcohol damage is associated with the small intestine cancer. Alcohol intake was also a risk factor in both males and females. It causes also lung cancer, stomach cancer, vagina cancer in females.
Mouth cancer: alcohol addiction is a big risk factor for mouth cancer. Using alcohol with tobacco increases the mouth cancer risks. Moderate alcohol consumption is also associated with kidney cancer risk among both men and women. Liver cancer: is much more frequent in alcoholics who had developed cirrhosis first. It is one of the prime functions of the liver to break down alcohol. When an organ as sensitive as the liver is repeatedly bombarded with massive amounts of alcohol, the delicate liver cells first breakdown in the form of fatty degeneration, which then leads to fibrous scarring; that is cirrhosis.
