Alcoholism is a disease that creeps into your life and all of a sudden. At first you're the part of the party, and later you're going to be the drunk of the party. Your body can handle all the booze without any problem when you are in younger age but with the age it will become problematic. Most of the time, alcoholics don't know that alcohol has taken contract to destroy their life. This is called the denial stage of alcoholism. Alcoholics feel that if they can get alcohol everyday, even though secretly and they still don't have a problem so what can be there in future.
But after knowing about the effects, after work they'll again have beers, which will in fact, make them feel like their old self again. The problems are eliminated by getting new old self on alcohol.

An alcoholic might believe they feel better while drinking and can realize their reflexes have slowed down or they can think they are better communicators after several doses.
