The abuse of alcohol is very old process being used since the starting of agriculture, when human beings used to synthesis the alcohol. Some people take it as a way of purifying water as disinfectant as it can kill micro organisms.

This have protected early humans from the risks associated with intestinal parasites coming from drinking water, but now a days man is thinking about the misuse not the use of it. Some human genes can also be used in genetic engineering that can cause some individuals to fail at producing chemicals that cause harm to human being. An individual is considered is having genetic vulnerability to alcohol addiction also.

A genetic vulnerability to alcohol abuse in some people is present but due to some of the experts on the subject it would consider genetics to be the main cause of alcoholism disease. The social groups that the individual belongs can help him/her to avoid the addiction to drinking; this may also have a right on the drinker. These social groups are basically the relatives. It may be difficult to separate a genetic vulnerability to drink frequently. To say it identification is much in terms of exact causes.

The social behaviors of some groups, psychological vulnerabilities of some people, can be the reason in development of alcoholism. The vulnerability of an individual is due to the weak emotional health. Emotional health can be affected by external events and personal reaction of the patient environment. That can enhance the disease to top.
